The American stock exchanges trade from 9am to 4pm eastern time. The European exchanges start trading at 6 am eastern time i believe. Are the stocks on the american exchanges that are traded from 9-4 comletely different than those stocks traded on the eurpoean exchanges? Or could you trade the same stock, say Google, on both American and European exchanges during their respective trading sessions?
